Attach the Panels

Cut the bottom, back, and side panels from 3/4-inch plywood. I’m using red oak veneer plywood for this project.

Secure the side panel to the bottom panel using glue and two pocket screws, ensuring the pocket holes are no more than two inches from each edge. After that, attach the back panel to the bottom with pocket screws, and then use trim screws to secure the corners.
