How to Build a Dog Crate

If a pet is a member of your family, you want to provide them with top-quality care. However, when it comes to crates or kennels, pet stores usually offer mostly plastic or metal options. For my dog Charlie, that just didn’t cut it.

I created a dog crate using red oak wood and copper pipe, both easy to find at home improvement stores. I incorporated a stylish sliding door and stained the frame black with India ink. Charlie loved it immediately and has made it his home ever since.
